Same-Day Virtual Inspections
Two ways to get inspected. Live video inspections deliver results before the call ends. Offline photo submissions return results within 1-2 hours. Both through the myFCC Mobile app.
Instant Live Results
Open myFCC Mobile, connect with a licensed inspector, and get your result before the call ends.
1-2 Hour Offline Results
Submit GPS-tagged photos and videos through myFCC Mobile. Results returned within 1-2 hours.
Two Ways to Inspect
Choose live video inspection for instant results, or offline photo submission when it fits your schedule.
Licensed Inspectors
All virtual inspections performed by Florida-licensed building inspectors.
How Virtual Inspections Work
Four steps. All from your phone. No scheduling calls, no waiting around.
Request an Inspection
Open the myFCC app and request an inspection. Choose live video for instant results, or submit photos and videos for offline review.
Connect with an Inspector
For live inspections, you're matched with a licensed inspector in minutes — no phone calls, no scheduling delays. For offline, upload your media and move on to the next task.
Get Your Result
Live inspections deliver a result before the call ends. Offline submissions return results within 1-2 hours. Either way, results are transmitted to the building department automatically.
FCC Files the COC
Once required FCC inspections pass, FCC files the Certificate of Compliance for the private-provider scope. Jurisdiction-retained inspections and approvals still stay with the AHJ.
See How Easy It Is
From your phone to approval — live inspections deliver instant results, offline submissions in 1-2 hours.

FAQ
Virtual Inspection Questions
Are virtual inspections legal for Florida contractors?
Yes. Florida contractors can use virtual inspections when the inspection is eligible for private-provider handling under Florida Statute 553.791 and the project scope supports remote review. FCC determines whether a live or offline inspection method applies.
How do FCC live virtual inspections work?
A contractor requests a live inspection in the myFCC app, gets matched with a licensed inspector in minutes, walks the scope by video call, and receives the inspection result before the call ends.
How do offline virtual inspections work?
For eligible scopes, the contractor submits GPS-tagged, timestamped photos and videos through myFCC. FCC reviews the media remotely and returns results in 1-2 hours.
Can every inspection be handled virtually by FCC?
No. Some inspection types and project conditions require live review, and some inspections remain with the jurisdiction, including zoning, fire, public works, utilities, right-of-way, drainage, and similar AHJ-retained scopes.
How You Keep More Money
Every day waiting on inspections costs you money. Here's where it goes—and how FCC stops the bleeding.
Stop Paying to Wait
A home waiting for inspection costs you $500-2,000 per week in financing, insurance, and idle crew time.
Save $2,000-8,000 per project
Finish More Jobs Per Year
Close out faster, invoice sooner, start the next job. One extra project per year at your margins? That's real money.
Increase annual revenue
Know When We Show Up
No more "we'll call you when we're available." Schedule inspections when they work for your crew, not whenever the building department gets around to it.
Predictable scheduling
Plan reviews in 1-2 days. Not weeks.
Apply to Work With FCC
You've done the math on what a 3-week plan review lag costs. FCC turns that around in 1-2 days — and inspections get matched in minutes, not scheduled into a vague window where your crew waits all morning.
